ONE OF THE MOST VISITED MUSEUMS IN MOSCOW

FILM FESTIVAL IN LOVE WITH ART

The 4th International Film Festival of Documentary, Feature and Animated Films dedicated to the theme of Preservation of Cultural Heritage – In Love with Art was held in St. Petersburg from 21 to 24 October. This year there were works shot by directors from Russia, Sweden, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. The Film Festival In Love with Art is dedicated to the subtle genres of art in cinema. This is an opportunity to look through the eyes of a director at those people who devote their lives completely to their profession, be they an artist, ballet dancer, opera diva, architect or sculptor. The opening ceremony took place on 21st October at the Lendok Open Film Studio. The opening film of the festival was the film by director Yulia Bobkova “Stanislavsky. Lust for life. " The heroes of the film - modern theater and film directors, show how the Stanislavsky's method affects their daily work.

41 works were selected for the show this year - documentaries, fiction and short films of different directions. In addition to the main nominations, a new one has been added this year - "Cinema online", for films that were created specifically for online platforms. Out of competition in the special section Rock Corner, a documentary film Not Made of Paper directed by Dmitry Glebov about the Soviet punk band Yugo-Zapad (South-West) was presented. The culmination of the festival was the award ceremony for the winners and the presentation of the Grand Prix and the special prize Golden Stefan.
