The dates of the next Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) were announced. It will be held from June 15 to 18, 2022.Egypt will be the guest country at the 25th edition of the SPIEF. This event continues to be one of the largest and most significant business events in the world. The Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum is an annual event. It has been held in Saint-Petersburg since 1997. Since 2005, the President of Russia has participated in it.
Several countries have already expressed interest in the participation of their representative delegations in the SPIEF 2022. In 2021 the Forum became the world's first and largest off-line business event, which could be held in the era of the coronavirus. During 4 days, the Forum was visited by more than 13.5 thousand participants from 141 countries, including more than a thousand mass media representatives from 46 countries. This year, when organizing the SPIEF, a series of epidemiological safety measures were developed, which have already become the gold standard for carrying out measures during the pandemic.
