The Moscow Metro will start running 30 trains decorated for Christmas and New Year. The first thematic train has already been launched on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. The Oka and Rusich trains with carriages decorated with garlands, snowflakes and other winter ornaments will run on six metro lines.
They have already begun to decorate the capital for the New Year holidays and install festive decorations throughout the city. In total, more than four thousand decorative lighting structures will be installed in Moscow. Earlier it was reported that almost 20 Christmas trees will appear at Moscow metro stations on the eve of the New Year. In total, the lobbies of 56 metro stations will be decorated.
As noted in the transport department, themed trains are designed to charge people with a festive mood and bring the feeling of Christmas and New Year.
