4TH INTERNATIONAL INCLUSIVE FESTIVAL AT PUSHKIN MUSEUM

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow will host the 4th International Inclusive Festival. The show will unite discussions, performances and master classes. The festival will run until October 25th. Its theme is Everyone is Present. The theme of the show became a paraphrase of the name of the famous performance by Marina Abramovich The Artist is Present, and denotes the representation of people with different abilities in the museum. The festival will bring together artists and museum specialists from Russia, Switzerland, Japan, USA, Finland, Israel, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Lithuania, Italy, Hong Kong and Mozambique.Within the framework of the festival, the exhibition From Durer to Matisse will be guided in sign language, in the same way there will be guided tours of the permanent exhibition in the halls of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, master classes for children with special needs and their parents. The festival includes activities for people with disabilities and for everyone. As part of the show, the exhibition Look from the Inside will be held, which will include works created during the #PushkinForAll classes by artists with special needs. The central theme of the festival will be the experience of social exclusion, the lack of emotional and tactile contact with the world in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The guests of the festival will discuss such problems as equality and its illusion, hyperlocality and digital freedom, theatricality of everyday life and rethinking the concept of personal boundaries.
For the first time, within the framework of the show, will be held a special inclusive theater program and movement master classes Far and Near, prepared by Swiss experts from the integration dance company BewegGrund.
The festival events will be broadcasted in the Accessible Museum project account on the Facebook social network. This year, thanks to the digital format, the geography of the project has significantly expanded and united people around the world.
