RUSSIA OPENS LAND BORDERS FROM JULY 15

09 November 2024

From July 15, Russia lifts the restrictions on crossing its land borders established in connection with the pandemic. Foreign tourists once again have the opportunity to enter our country, and Russian tourists, respectively, to travel abroad by car, bus or train. The opening of land borders will make traveling to Russia cheaper. It opens a path through Finland and Estonia, which can be reached across Europe on low-cost flights. Due to the small number of direct flights to Russia on most international destinations, the lifting of restrictions will be an important factor for both Russian tourists and foreign tourists considering traveling to Russia.

Please note that at the same time, the requirement to present a negative PCR test when entering Russia (except for citizens of Belarus) remains.
