125 years ago on February 09, 1896 the first annual competition of The World Figure Skating Championship took place in Saint-Petersburg. Only four athletes participated in the championship, but thanks to them the history of world figure skating began in Russia - on the ice rink of the Yusupov Garden in Saint-Petersburg.

Entry to the territory of Russia was opened for citizens of four more countries. Now residents of India, Qatar, Vietnam and Finland can freely enter the Russian Federation. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Citizens of these four countries, as well as those with a residence permit, are allowed to enter Russia through authorized airports.
